whew, back up to date! thanks for all the new links... unfortunately, my last update went over the maximum 20,000 characters per post, so I modified all the links to use relative URLs and removed all the www.golfclubatlas.com prefixes.  That got me by for now, but I'll soon have to break this up into 2 different threads - perhaps one for US courses, another for Non-US.

I also had to remove the following from the first entry... I'll put this somewhere else soon:

Austrailian Classics, by Philip Gawith
Hole-by-Hole Directory to Tim Bert's Photo Tribute to Pacific Dunes, by Art Fuller

I know Shinnecock is covered by Ran under Courses by Country.  But here is a pictorial I did in case you want to add it to your list.  I've edited it to add back in a number of pictures which were removed from the host server.

One way to make this great thread a permanent fixture we can all easily find: put it in the column on the left.  Along with "Courses By Architect", "Courses By Country", etc., we'd also see "Golf Course Photo Tours".

Added Shinnecock, Thanks Ed!

Jim, I like your idea, but I'm not sure if the moderators want to link to a single thread from the main menu on the left, nor do I imagine they want to maintain this list themselves and place it on it's own web page (like courses by country/architect). Although I'm happy to turn the list over if they do!!

For now, I was thinking that anyone who wants to create their own directory thread like this one (e.g. Best of GCA, Getting Started at GCA (who are you anyway, etc.), Course Recommendations by State/Country, etc.) simply include "Official Directory - ..." in the subject line to make for easy searching.

Got my images for Cascata transfered over to the new site so this one is now updated.

Cascata added... thanks John.  Just a reminder, I'll be away for 2 weeks so I may get a little behind on updates...  We're up to 181 links!

Darn!  Wish I could join you, but leaving tomorrow... let me know what you think of Monarch.  You might check out the new 12-holer next door too (other side of range).   BTW, just played Dairy a couple weekends ago. Thanks for reminding me about the link!

Thanks Ed for the Congressional link too.

I don't know that any photo tour has ever inspired as much raw longing in me as Sean Arble's tour of Merion, although some of the photos are now missing in action:

Have fun at Red Sky. It is pretty cool place.  I liked the Norman course better than the Fazio.  The way Norman routed the course really makes best use of the land.

I'd like to see this thread continue.  It is great fun.

Perhaps Ran would consider putting a link to this info on the home page?

If not bump it from time to time.

Nicely done. Thanks.

Perhaps he has considered it and that's why no such link exists. ;)

Just a quick update from Colorado... should be back home on Sunday and will get this directory updated!  Played Breckenridge today, Eagle Rock yesterday... Haymaker, Lakota Canyon and Redlands Mesa last week.  Loving Mt. Golf!  I could get very used to these 315 yard drives... ego will return to normal at sea level soon.  Thanks for all the new listings ;)
