Photo Tours
« on: August 11, 2010, 07:00:15 PM »
I just thought it was time for a reminder to bookmark this page.  The collection of tours is building up quite nicely since Art Fuller started this a few years back.  I know a great number of tours have not been included.  If folks know of some slap the URL on this thread and I will try to save them.

That is a nice site Sean.

Joe

P.S.  I've got a few decent photo tours in waiting.   Stay tuned.  :)

Sean,

Thank you so much for posting this link again. I ran across it in another thread, but couldn't remember what it was. It is fantastic and there are so many great photo threads...this is the good stuff...

Hmmm, very curious.  I noticed the lack of pics isn't limited to the Lehigh thread, as they aren't showing for my Flynn Lancaster thread either.  I'll have to investigate further.

Joe,

I use photobucket to post pics here. I learned that if I post pics and then later re-organize my photobucket pics, the link is broken and the pics are lost on GCA.com.  Perhaps that is the problem?

I am no longer using Photobucket.  I now simply post them directly to this server.  But apparently something is not working right with it.  Ben?  Ran?  Help?!

MWP:

Picasa will give you an image URL for each pic. You need to post that image URL between two pairs of square brackets. The first pair of square brackets has img inside it and the second pair has /img inside it.

Joe,

If you posted a picture of a little x in a box, it is working great :)

Joe,

Apparently the files are being uploaded, but IMO they are somehow being 'corrupted' in the process.  If you 'right click' on the document and download it to your computer, if it behaves like they do on my Mac, viewing programs say the file is corrupt.  But if I put the file through FileJuicer, the pic is 'fixed' and then is readable.

I've e-mailed Ben and Ran about this situation and I'm hopeful they will remedy it soon.
