I would love to be in this, but I am currently a block and a half from Ipanema beach, and I am not going to be sitting on the computer tomorrow picking golf holes.  Best of luck to all of you!

Likewise, I have to spend Thursday on my yacht testing lotions on a team of supermodels before heading ashore to accept a key to the city of San Diego.

I'll try to find time for Fantasy Draft III if it comes before my canonization.

With the first pick, I will go with the greatest par 5 in the world:

Crystal Downs - 8th Hole - 550 yards(ish) - Par 5
I get it, you are mad at the world because you are an adult caddie and few people take you seriously.

Excellent spellers usually lack any vision or common sense.

I know plenty of courses that are in the red, and they are killing it.

Do you have to have played the hole to pick it?

George, you can pick any hole you'd like, assuming it still exists.  I guess holes from Old Mac count as well.

You must not have thrown enough cash Colton's way to get a higher seed ;D

When the dream-courses are to be judged, will the courses be judged by the pure quality of the holes or also their sequencing? For example, I think the 16th at CPC wouldn't be a good starting hole, but I'm not in the game anyways xD

Emil - here you go.

Ground Rules:
- Build a Dream 18-hole course by picking corresponding 1st-18th holes from real courses

For future reference, two additional ground rules.

- Goes without saying, but trading is encouraged.
- After the first round, you can swap a previously selected hole for any other hole not selected yet. Your original hole goes back into the pool.  You might need to do this to make a routing work.  So even if Doak gets stuck with, say, the Dell Hole at Erin Hills, he can swap it out later whenever he gets back from Brazil.

Emil, as far as judging, I don't think there'll be winners/losers, but perhaps we can have voting on some categories like 'best routing', 'toughest', etc.  I'm open to suggestions.  I think you just nominated yourself to be a judge.

Will MacEwen

Does routing include the fact that the green to tee walk from say, the 3rd at Dornoch to the 4th at Shinnecock is a hike?

I've been waiting for some good suggestions for picks for Tom.  Here's one:

Tom Doak selects TPC Sawgrass, 17th Hole, 155 yd par 3

All this hurrying up to wait since Brad F. works nights and is probably snoring away as we speak.  I will make the executive decision to switch the order up.  We'll skip Brad and he can make his first pick whenever he logs in.  To compensate, he'll get an earlier pick in the 2nd round (based on where his first pick falls).  Hopefully by round 3, it'll be back to normal and I'll have some autopicks from him ahead of time.

Next picks...
7   Cristian Willaert
8   Eric Smith
9   Kalen Braley

Jeez,
His picks are all laid out there in the confidential guide. Why would you give him this clunker? Were you trying to be funny? If so, didn't work.

Garland,

He can add his 'real' picks later if he's available...considering all the trash he was talking back in November, I'm sure he can stand up to a little handicap.
