It is near Swansea, Wales.  What do you know about it?

Langland Bay is a fairly bland course in a terrific setting. The 16th though is outstanding.  The course though is over priced with Pennard in close proximity for an extra tenner.

It apparently was better before they cut the motorway? carriageway? through it.
Did you try search? I was asking about it before my trip to Wales and was informed about the modification on that thread.

That is Swansea Bay GC and it is a load better than Langland Bay.  The course is actually quite good considering the land available.  Fantastic routing really.  The M4 is quite close and the A road which leads to Swansea runs right through the middle of the course leaving six linksy holes on the waterside of the A road.  There are nasty factories of Port Talbot which are the backdrop.  Somehow the course is able to overcome the environment.  Plus, its quite cheap so worth a go if in the area.

There is an interesting looking 9 holer above Swansea Bay...I think its owned by the club, but operated as a public course.  If that land could be incorporated into the linksland it would make for a very interesting course.

Thanks Sean,

I always get those two mixed up. Perhaps had I visited one or both I would be better able to remember. In the previous thread, I had asked about the two of them. Langland Bay then would be the cliff top one, not considered to be a links.
