I'm not sure I understand the logic of your arguement. The course evidently played soft. Does that alter the fact that Karl Olsen is largely responsible for resurrected the NGLA or that Rees Jones ain't exactly a friend to important works of golf architecture?

Are you certain that you have all the facts with respect to any and all reclamation work at NGLA? I don't have all the facts regarding the reclamation work. I've relied on the views of Bahto, Whitten, Shackelford, Doak, Hurdzan, Ran and few others. Could you give us the details as to who did what?

I have to admit the opinions of those students of the art has effected my view, but maybe there are others out there (in cyberspace) who haven't been tainted and who would appreciate you exposing all the details.
