The Tillinghast Association produced a slide show on Tillinghast's life.  There are many new photos including Tillinghast in the gallery watching "Iron Byron" at the Met Open at Quaker Ridge in 1936.  There is a BOMBSHELL in the last slide in the deck.  It pretty much seals the case on why Tillinghast will never step foot in the HOF.  The slide is a touching Eulogy written by the President of the PGA in 1942 in which he acknowledges that Joseph Burbeck designed Bethpage Black.

The Association also posted several national championship programs. The photos from some of these are terrific especially when you can use other programs that later had diagrams and descriptions of the holes. Fresh Meadow is one of the NLE's that would have stood the test of time:
