Played Dorrnoch and Cruden Bay last week and I don't think there is much comparison in quality.
I just don't get 9 and 10 at Cruden Bay....They both just seem to be a way to get back to the clubhouse.
Dornoch, in 75 degree sunny weather, was 36 holes of pure joy.
Always thought my anticipation was best fulfilled with my 1st round at Pebble Beach....But, for me, nothing can surpass Dornoch's initial look.
