First of all I want to offer Congratulations to Michael Stachowicz on his new position as Super at this venerable old Boston area club. Mike is a GCA person and should be just what the doctor ordered for a club that wants to improve conditions... Secondly, it appears that Dedham may have discovered some documentation to indicate that Raynor might have had a hand in the design at the club. It's interesting that even in this day and age of architecture savvy clubs and players that something as big as Raynor's involvement may have gone unnoticed. They were under the impression that Findlay had done the work and had Craig Shriner in in the late 90's to do a bunker renovation but the Raynor news would seem to indicate they may want to revisit the whole renovation/restoration thing again. Boston has some outstanding golf already and tremendous heritage and it appears the rich may indeed be getting richer.
