Can this world wide group of golfers identify the golf course shown in this photo?

My first thought was Banff, but most of Banff is even closer to the mountains than that.

I've been to all 50 states, but never had the opportunity to take a picture of a golf course in Alaska.

I was just going to guess Moose Run, in Anchorage.  But perhaps not...  ;)

I've seen Banff, but you seem to have successfully and correctly ruled it out.

I've only seen seaside links in Europe not near any snow.

Almost all of the pictures you would find have already been posted here, as that is the only reason I have a flickr account. The ones that haven't been posted here are of Tarbat Golf Club, which I have been too busy (lazy) to post.

You will have to be more explicit in your meaning with the above statement. This poor engineer might not be the best at understanding nuances.

I am thinking New Zealand somewhere.  It's not Paraparaumu Beach, I looked and that's surrounded by inhabited area (though it DOES have a mountain view).

On the South Island, perhaps given the remnants of snow?  It would have to be on the eastern side of the mountains.

It didn't occur to me that people would be going so far afield with their guesses.

The course is in the USA.

Lovely pair of tetons.
The White River runs dark through the heart of the Town,
Washed the people coal-black from the hole in the ground.

Mt. Massive (Leadville)?

Don't play too much golf. Two rounds a day are plenty.

I'm thinking its in one of 3 states, Montana, Oregon, or Washington

And the bareness suggests the course is on the East side (Rain Shadow side) of the mountains..
