Had not previously heard of Jeff Gorney, the architect of record for the course.

Played the course a few years ago. Other than being unwalkable it had some interesting holes and some that were much too severe for the land such as a few that played straight up the steepest hill I’ve ever seen in golf. First hole started off with a par 3 too.

Jeff Gorney has done a lot courses in Michigan.  The Heathlands, The Colonial, Greenbrier, The Dream, The Nightmare, to name a few.

I would never have tried to walk LTB.  Course has huge elevation changes and amazing views of the bay.
