Tuco,
There is no need to rape and pillage here. Other banditos have already gotten to thee place eye think.

Look at that fairway on #18.

And doz bunkers, I have seen better tuck-in-roll from a sweat ship in TJ!

Why do I detect a post from Hugo "El Poffy" Wiltson?

It's not my fault esse. U are the 1 that had to mention the "EM" word. Et's nut my fault dat da Banditios have raped and pillaged dis village. Eye wasn't one of them.

Dis rape and pillage looks more like the woork of Italiano's. The lowest form of humans.

You say that was just a photo op practice swing next to Hogan's plaque on #18 but you were seen hitting a shot from there despite the fact your actual drive was 75 yards farther down in the fairway. Hitting balls for the fun of it anywhere near Hogan's plaque is strictly verboten and consequently you have been banned from entering the town limits of Villanova Pennsylvania for the remainder of your natural life!

Golfnooch,

Do not be worried about Tom.  He is actually a Long Island guy living in Philly and does not realize that by banning you from Villanova, PA, he has only banned you from Radnor Valley CC, a Dick Wilson design. Some would say that he just did you a favor.

While Merion creates much insanity at GCA, you should feel comfortable posting about it, it is probably the first nice post about it in years here at GCA.  ;) The members who post and lurk here would probably appreciate it, I know I liked your Day at PV post.

Tom,

Ardmore, PA - Home of Merion Golf Club and Kobe Bryant !!

Golfnooch,
I wouldn't worry about Tom Paul's warnings. Ever since Rollie Massimino skipped town there's been nothing of any interest in Villanova. You might not be able to play Overbrook, but who cares?

Make sure you don't run afoul of the alderman of Ardmore, however. You may have disqualified yourself from King of Prussia, though, because it appears you may have crossed the current King of King of Prussia.

Mike - great minds think alike. However, greater minds correspond mainline clubs to their proper town. Overbrook is in Bryn Mawr it appears.

We keep crossing. Further evidence of the genius level we operate on.

Quick - what Brian Silva restoration job am I currently thinking of?

SPDB,

I once played 8 or 9 holes with Rollie at Cobbs Creek when he first took the job. I don't think he played there much after the National Championship ;).

To Rollie's credit, I played at a outing 2 or 3 years ago at St George's GC (see Ran's next 50) which is next to Stony Brook University on Long Island. Stony Brook gave him his first job, and he came back to help them raise money when they moved to Division I. He may have broken up the Big 5, but I still like him.

Golfnooch, do knot fail in your endeavors my friend. I did not intend to ruin your thread, but there is a passion, a hot blooded red passion when u use de "EM" word here on El Club de Golf Atlas. It is a passion that can even scare the frejoles out of me amigo, so please put the pictures back up so the discussion may continue and the frejoles can be served as well as justice.

Ok,OK--if he doesn't care if he's banned from Radnor Valley G.C. the ban is lifted! But when he returns to Merion East he must fill in divots on #18 fairway for no less than an hour before beng allowed to play!!

Because the Blue Route was a mess today,i had to get off and drive by Merion to get to work today.
The course is in Delaware County and i think in Haverford Township.Wouldn't Ardmore start at least on the other side of Ardmore Ave with most of it in Lower Merion township and Montgomery County.
We need to reclaim Merion for Delaware County and Haverford.
BTW i saw a machine that usually does bunker work by #4

These last 2 photos show work on new back tees for 5 and 9;  other new back tees include 12, 15, and 17.  This is not bunker work.
