I have heard about the back 9 at Pacific Grove and hopefully it fits into the schedule during the week.

Chad, you're going to absolutely love Cal Club. In addition to the write up on GCA, I'd recommend listening to the Fried Egg pod with Allan Jamieson and David Normoyle.

Pacific Grove we did the day after Cal Club and it's certainly worth a visit. The front 9 gets dogged compared to holes 11-16, I actually quite enjoyed front having zero expectations. Holes 4 and 6-8 were fun if a bit cramped.

Al Jamieson a true legend at the Cal Club found a way to get the renovation done.  Great leader for that club and it paid off.

Harold and Maude, Dr. Strangelove, and Caddy Shack all in the same post with proper context.  Awesome.

Do I also discern a reference to the Grateful Dead from Gib?  Or do I still have Robert Hunter on my mind??
