Even as one of the rabble who will never set foot there, I would've much preferred that Fishers Island Ice Tea only be available at the golf course itself, as an exclusive benefit to Fisher Island's members and guests -- like the Snapper Soup at PV or the Burger Dog at Olympic. I mean, if I can buy a can of it wherever I next get my gas and my smokes, what's there left to aspire to?!

Drank it nonstop at a member-guest outside Boston a few years ago. Helped power a flight and playoff win, until the last can ran empty and we fell short in the shootout. It's delicious.

i took my last can of FI Lemonade to the local swimming pool last night. As I sipped away, a lady of my acquaintance came over and asked where I got it from. My answer “Not from Fishers Island unfortunately.”


Turns out her step-brother has a house on the Island and would be happy to host me for a round right after Labor Day.
