Wss that so bad?

Long is long whether it's 250 vs 270
or 290 vs 330

Great to see scale returned to ANGC.

Can anyone tell the difference? those drives on 17 were smoked.
Not more entertaining to see them go farther-creating a need to go farther back.

great event-I'd say sponsors should wake up as this was waaay more watchable than the rank and file PGA Tour event(without the weekly PGA tour controversy).
and NOT just because of the venue.
What great entertainers and sports those two were.

Kupcho played the last six holes in 5 under par. I had feared boring golf and overly schmaltzy ANGC coverage. Quite the opposite occurred. The back nine delivered once again, this time with different messengers.

Kupcho admitted to getting a migraine on the front nine and had blurry vision afterward, so she really leaned on her local caddie.

I could not have been entertained more. The golf was splendid and the sportsmanship exceptional. What a good week for golf. ANGC has come a long way in the last decade. Changes come slowly to golf but ANGC has actually been leading the way with Drive, Chip, and Putt and ANWA.

Afterthoughts on distances played on the various holes and the set-up generally?

Been to the Masters quite a bit as a kid and an adult and today was way, way up there as far as best experiences.  I think the course set up was just about perfect.  I was amazed at how well the ladies were hitting their landing spots on the par threes.  Very impressed.

I just wish they let kids in with badge holders like they do for the tournament. My girls would have loved it.
