2019 Midwest Mashie - Pending Date - 14 and 15 September 2019

Good day golf.

With the new rules of golf abuzz  - (Use the Longest club - Except the putter) -   and all of the accompanying "golf-positive" chatter for 2019, I wanted to post September 14-15 as the 'heads up' date for the 2019 Midwest Mashie.

On the heels of Pat Craig’s fantastically successful "Battle for Northland”, George and another fellow GCAer have been working to secure a "very nice" site and we are awaiting approval, potentially coming within a week. 

These dates are the dates offered as available and I am happy to say they also appear free of religious calendar conflicts, at least those published widely. If your religious sect has some dates that are secret and known only to your coven... apologies.

IF we secure the venue approval, we shall rejoice and announce.
Alternatively,
IF we are turned away, this post will mysteriously disappear and we will continue to speak amongst ourselves.

What a positive and uplifting post there, Vaughn - thank you. Full of goodwill and bonhomie, with even the upcoming USGA rules change a cause for celebration. And your sensitive yet not obsequious nod to lesser-known-and-practiced faith traditions was perfectly modulated: you've excluded no one and welcomed everyone to the 2019 edition of the Midwest Mashie, while also managing to raise brand awareness and shape the narrative. Well done, sir - you are a credit to this site!
So: it better damn well be a top 100 course you're talking about, and as private & exclusive as Congaree (or at least the pretension-free, mid-west version)!
