I said the look of the course, not how it plays. Quite deliberately. I think almost universally being able to see more of the rest of the course is a good thing for the way a course looks.
From my experiences at BUDA, however, I'dd add 9 to the list where trees can come into play. I don't thnk, however, that trees in play are a problem at Golspie. Just that the course could look better with fewer trees in the heathland part of the course. Old pictures of the Surrey heathlands look spectacular, far better than the tree lined versions we now see.
