OT?-Overseas memberships in the UK
« on: March 01, 2018, 06:16:14 AM »
I have recently become an Overseas member at my local club http://www.aberdourgolfclub.co.uk/, and am wondering if anybody else who is a non-UK citizen would be interested in joining.  The benefits include:

--no entry fee
--annual fees of c.$200/year
--unlimited play, including competitions
--establishing a CONGU handicap
--access to a clubhouse with world-class views and excellent food and beverage services
--30  minutes by train to the center of Edinburgh
--60 minutes by car to St. Andrews

Anybody who is interested, please contact the above url and/or contact me through this post.

PS--this post has been authorized by both golfclubatlas.com and Aberdour Golf Club, and I have no interest in this issue except maybe making other people happy.

Do not fail to mention the tittallating ( is it spelled with one or to tits?) opening of the opening par three which I think supercedes the 7th at Pebble for character followed up by another 1 shotter. Very sporting!

Looks a very good & tempting offer. As the Northern Highlands are not counted as part of the British mainland by most curriers does it qualify  ;D

Hope your in warmer climes.

I'm trapped in Snowmageddon in Aberdour.  Flying to Florida in 2 weeks, weather permitting.  As to OS potential members resident in the UK no chance, but maybe if "Sexit" (Scottish Independence) happens, who knows?
