Ronald,
That would be a good spot for it... in addition to the bottom of every page of the forum like it used to be.
But perhaps these links were removed intentionally, to get us to explore other areas of the site. I don't have access to the stats, but I'm guessing the DG links get at least 95% of the clicks on this site.
Apples to oranges, isn't it? Websites that have discussion boards, along with other content, often generate most of their hits from those discussion boards -- threads come and go, sometimes take off, or die, or wander in any number of directions. All for the good, I'd say -- but I have to look frequently to see where they are going. The rest of this website is incredibly useful -- I've probably linked to George Bahto's definitive piece on Macdonald/Raynor templates dozens of times -- but not nearly as dynamic (and things like the Best of Golf, aimed at fostering a bit more of that to the site, seem to have tailed off).
Other parts of this website are still pretty well-organized, and presented clearly and easy to use. Not so the Discussion Board, which as Sean Arble alluded to, appears to have been designed for ease-of-use by the software coders/designers, as opposed to the end users.
