Pete

not today

the rough is very mushy....the fairways are pretty dry

the drainage is to divert the rain water to the rough

All 3 courses are very walkable....

Any caddie requests?

Pushcarts are available at no charge at Eugene CC.

power carts are available today, LOL

at our club the pro and superintendent make those decisions on a day to day basis as we don't have cart paths

Pete, do you have a medical issue?

The reason I asked was that if they are allowing carts now, there is a better chance they will be allowed during the K P.
I know how things work with carts. Sent you a PM.

My USGA hdcp is 13.7 with 3 AZ rounds scheduled for the rest of the month.

Connor, we tee off in 30 days, and us old folks like to eat and drink properly, so we are counting on you.  ;D

Garland, your first drink is on me. (I never forget those things.).

See all of you in a month.  Michael

Michael, I'm just seeing this now. Don't worry, I've got a few things in mind  ;D

Eugene (airport) had 2 1/2" of rain in February, nearly 3" less than normal.  3./1 has .01"

Definetly a strange El Niņo year. After a good amount of rainfall we have had the driest February on record in San Diego with only .05" of rain; temps have been 70-80 degrees all month! A coworker went up to Seattle and reported 28" of rain for the month!

Handicap has plunged from 9.8 to 7.7 in just 2 weeks. The King's Putter has been packed and is ready for the battle. Can we wear shorts at ECC? Looking forward to getting the KP back on, at least the forecast for Monday looks OK.

Great, two things San Diegans love is wearing shorts and finally getting to use their expensive rain gear!

Lavallee and Pittock have checked into HQ for the KP. We will be at Marche' at 6. (296 E 5th). The putter trophy made it, safely.
Emerald Valley does have a solid menu for lunch.

Wish I could be with you dudes.  Just walked in from a great week long visit to Havana.  No golf but a lot of rum, coffee and cigars (the "Cuban marriage") and a lot of wonderful live music.  No golf, but man cannot live by golf alone!

The first round is complete. North is leading 3.5 to 1.5. Conner and Gray shared medalist honors with 75' s. We escaped the predicted rain and Emerald Valley was on fine shape. Great set of greens that shed water the old fashioned way, by gravity!

Already reported as 3 1/2 to 1 1/2 in favor of north. 10 players, 9 from the NW, Pete Lavallee the only Californian to risk travelling too far north. Need to get an act together.
