Put me down as a probable for either day, tho Wednesday would clearly be a better day, play-in games or not. . . and still wondering how Chris Collins got that team to win three consecutive conference road games. Can he really be the Gary Barnett of NU hoops?

Any plans for NU hoops to unionize??

Definitely interested.  Either would likely work for me.

To all;  I spoke to Dave Esler about being the featured speaker.  Obviously, he has a lot to talk about.  Unfortunately, he is unavailable until at least 8:30 on the 19th so that evening is not a viable choice if we want to take advantage of Dave's expertise.  He is available on the 20th, the other date that was being considered.  The 18th is also available.  We could also pick a different week.  What is the group's preference?  I think a discussion of the Oregon project, Black Sheep and other Chicago area projects would make for an interesting evening but I leave it to the group.  A prompt decision would be appreciated in order to be fair to Dave.

Shel,

I agree that Esler is well worth accommodating.  Perhaps we should go a week earlier to get away from the NCAA tourney altogether?

But that's conference championship week!!  Honestly, though, I don't care.  A week earlier shouldn't be a problem for me.

Unfortunately, Dave is not available the previous week.  Other than March 19, he can do any day from the 16th until April 1.  If we want to avoid the NCAA's, what about the 18th?  I hate to make this complicated and I will be happy to relay our preference.  Please weigh in.
