In year's past, Erie Cafe offered corkage fee for wine brought inside. Is that the same for this year? If so, Jud can empty his cellar for us.

Thanks to the talented and ever engaging David Esler for his remarks. We rubes can always use some education to go with our plentiful opinions. It was fun to see the handful of new guys and we can all look forward to some golf this summer. I'll plan a Beverly play day in June or July to get the band back together.

I am an idiot!  If you don't believe me, ask my teenage daughter.  How am I an idiot, you ask?  Well, at 5:15 tonight, I showed up at Erie Cafe looking for the GCA group.  Much to my chagrin, I was told it was last night.  How could that be, I asked myself?  I checked my calendar on my iPhone, and sure enough, I had it in there for the 18th, but somehow convinced myself it was the 19th.

Gentlemen, I am very sorry to have missed the event.  I had been looking forward to it since it was announced.  Please accept my sincerest apology.
