Tree Removal at Huntingdon Valley CC
« on: January 10, 2014, 10:35:25 AM »
I have heard rumors that HVCC will be going through another major tree removal program this winter. I love the work that they did a few years back and I am excited to see the changes that they are going to make this year. I will take pics as soon as I can get over there.

I'd love to see that as well.  Hopefully the weather cooperates a bit more so they can finish in a decent amount of time.

The "C" nine at HV had an unintentional tree removal program after it opened when a big storm took down many trees there years ago.

"Unintential tree removal" is the best kind!

Those ice/freezing rain storms in the winter magically damage/remove those trees offending the members most!

Have a great day.

Thats good news.  I will be interested to see impacts on holes like 7,8, and 10.

Is Gordon Brewer involved?  If Huntingdon Valley has a marked improvement will it carry over to Pine Valley?

From what I am hearing 7 will have the greatest impact from this round of tree removal. They will remove the trees on the left of 7 which will bring the creek into play that runs between 7 and 12. I think this will make the 2nd shot a bit more intimidating.
