Check out the Bucknell Golf Club in Lewisburg, PA near the campus of Bucknell Univ - my alma mater. It is about 15 miles south of Rte 80, south of Williamsport.
Some small greens and a little bit of quirck. Nice rolling terrain and fun views of the Susquehanna Valley Hills including the Chillisquaque Ridge. A tad hilly, but walkable for most people. I think it is a 3.5 star GD rating for what that is worth. The yardage is about 6240 with 132 slope. The last few times I was there it was in good shape, and a ton of trees and underbrush had been removed, although you would think it looks normal now.
The first nine was built in 1935 and the other later in the 1950s. Most of the people you meet there will be friendly. Cute little clubhouse.
The small downtown is quiant, and you can get a good meal at a number of places including the Lewisburg Hotel. The new Hampton Inn is a decent place to stay.
Enjoy and go through the beautiful campus on the way downtown to ea.
