Photos of Irish golf holes

Hope Ran doesn’t mind this asking of a favour…

Every year, I give a design presentation to a bunch of Golf Digest Ireland readers… I usually finish with a “Guess the course and hole” quiz… I seem to be shockingly low on good quality photos this year so if anyone has any and doesn’t mind me using them, I’d really appreciate if they could send on to mcintosh.golf@gmail.com

Bear in mind that they need to be quite easy… and any inland ones would be useful too…

As for this thread, maybe some of your favourite Irish golf photos would be a nice way to populate it also…

Praying I've not played any of the others, (and guessing the hole no's) I think
5th is Dooks 3rd
7th is Tralee 16th(?) The give away is themost luxurius cartpaths anywhere this side of the atlantic. "Soft" pavement, drainage gulleys and rubber kerbs! (Please God let me have the right course!)
8th BallyB no 12.

Wow...great pics!

If the 5th is Dooks I am seriously kicking myself for not playing there when I sorta had the chance.

My memory is rotten and I don't recognize a lot of them..but a couple of guesses:

1st- Cashen? (or are the dunes too far from the sea?) Carne second guess.

3rd- I have no idea (maybe Dingle area or NW?) but that greensite is drop dead gorgeous.

4th- Lahinch #6?

Probably an ofer.

I still can't place No.9 even though Thomas says its Murvagh... The trees appear to be a giveaway but what hole?

Tony,

I think that you uploaded to PhotoBucket low-res versions of those 3, and other, photos.
If so, the only fix will be to find your originals and upload the larger sizes to Photobucket, and then re-post them here.
You have done it correctly with other photos.

Correct, the first Portrush picture is taken from a parkinglot on bushmill/Dunluce road

Regarding RCD 2nd shot, i realized that i have very few shots from RCD that she is not on (and i also really like that photo), but I'm not complaining,

Seeing as no-one else is playing, I'll fill in the gaps:

6 - The Island hole 7
10. Strandhill hole 15

Donal's photos were from Concra Wood and Rosapenna OTM...

Mine were from North West (3rd hole), Portsalon (14th hole) and Rosapenna Sandy Hills (4th hole).

I recall Tony posted some Arklow pics a few years back. I'm sure one of the above is from that course, but I could be wrong.

My pics as Ally correctly pointed out were from Concra Wood in Castleblaney (Holes 4, 8, 10, 15) and from Rosapenna OTM (Holes 5, 7, 8, 9, 18).

Here's a very obscure one:
