What is the closest major airport?  Will some fly in and then drive, or do all of you live close enough to just drive there?  Interested.  Thanks.  TW

Tony, like others mentioned, Myrtle Beach has its own airport (MYR).  Spirit Air flies there, so if you have access to them, you may be able to find a pretty good deal.  Charleston (CHS) is about an hour and a half, Wilmington (ILM) a little further (1.75-2 hours).  Florence (FLO) is a possible option, as well (1.5 hours).

Southwest flies to CHS, so it might be worth looking into that, if they fly from your airport.

Mark:

I'm in, with two requests:

1)  An emailed schedule w/locations so I'll know where to catch the ferry.
2)  Breakfast buffet at both clubs to include Butterfingers and Bloody Marys.

Seriously, sounds GREAT!

Mark or Mike- I am making the leap that condos can also be split two ways at $60 a night pp for those that want a single?

Tim,

We should be able to arrange single accommodations on the base package for a small upcharge. We will have to sort that out once we know how many players are coming and how many of them will want a single. Several of us will not be staying at the condos (Tim Gavrich lives in the area, for example) but, we still have to pay the $219, so there will be some wiggle room for a few singles.

As for extra nights... you can split those up anyway you like so long as the total is $120.

Nice planning job, Mark & Mike.  I had forgotten how inexpensive Myrtle Beach can be.  Sorry that I can't make it.
