There's also Golf Vista Estates in Monee, Ill., a mobile-home golf community with a nine-hole short course in and around the aluminum.

Every course in Scotland except Muirfield and TOC has an adjacent caravan park.  Nothing unusual over there!

I tried in vain to convince my wife that this would make a perfect holiday destination this year...

Actually, Crail doesn't have one either (it has a Coast Guard base and a motor racing track) and nor does Elie, though there is one a couple of miles down the road.....
In June I will be riding the first three stages of this year's Tour de France route for charity.  630km (394 miles) in three days, with 7800m (25,600 feet) of climbing for the William Wates Memorial Trust (https://rideleloop.org/the-charity/) which supports underprivileged young people.

Hmmm, I thought there was one on the backside of Crail where the two courses come together.

I think we've had this conversation before and I think you're thinking of the Coast Guard station.

Just to be topical, Silloth has a very nice caravan park to slice your ball into at the 11th.

Bandon has a place for RV parking as well, near the practice range.

I thought I heard somewhere that Augusta was buying more land to erect an RV park as well. The "John Daly Dump Station" has a nice ring to it if they wish to name it after someone.

Emile,

Makes sense.  I've noticed for awhile now the area west of ANGC keeps getting more sparse.  Would be a perfect place to establish an RV park!!
