With George Pazin's blessing, I am going to take over the "Get To Know" thread. The concept is simple: answer the questions if you wish. We've decided to open it up to anyone interested in giving the treehouse a bit of background on how you came to g.c.a. and GCA.

I think this is a great idea.  With Tom Macwood's passing, I feel like getting to know people and why they have a passion for golf and what they are all about is a key ingredient to the sense of family inherent in this site.

One idea I have is for you to reach out to interesting members who have less than, say, 1,000 posts and see if they will do the thread.  I've posted over 4,000 times.  People know me.  Others have posted a lot and, even though we love like tolerate them, it would be nice to get to know some fresher faces with a passion for the game.
