I'd think Prairie Dunes would be in the conversation  ;)

I think the original 9 dates to 1937. The Press holes date to 57.

Boca Rio should certainly be included, but they discouraged raters for decades.

I never played Wilson's original Doral Blue but when it opened, it was highly rated.

I did and liked it a lot in 1975.   I think much dicking with the course occurred after that

I realize that....but if we're going to have courses that were "renovated", there's probably room for courses that had a complete 9 holes added with the original 9 altered during the time period.

I'd like to hear if Ran really still calls that era "the dark ages".    I never have, as I loved many Wilson and Jones courses in their original states, like Doral Blue, Bay Hill, Firestone.
Love "dicking" as a way of saying renovated.   

Firestone is one of the best, and all three of their courses offer excellent 21st century golfing experiences.
