In doing some research I came across an article that mentions that Walter Hagen had worked with Wayne Stiles in laying out the holes at Boga Ciega and even serving as the clubs President in 1925. So much so, the article goes on to state that the course is known as Hagen's course! I found this interesting, as it seems that Hagen and Alister MacKenzie had more than just a casual friendship. Is there any other course that Hagen is given credit for, or so closely attached in similar capacities as at Boga Ciega? Did he have any other close connections with architects of his day?
Is the Boga Ciega course the same as the Pasadena Yacht and Country Club course? It appears so, given their website making mention of Hagen and other golf celebrities.
