You can leave Innisbrook and head N and get to World Woods, the Dunes, and Black Diamond Ranch in about an hour.

Next year we'll have another candidate for them to look at while they're around Tampa.  But for now, I would think Old Memorial would be the place to see.  I still haven't seen it, though.

With the tour at Bay Hill this week, I'd head an hour southwest to Mountain Lake.

I would surely do the same thing Howard!!  But there should be some other candidates in Orlando... Isleworth, Lake Nona, World Woods. Any others?

I misread that and was thinking you were recommending Sugarloaf and Mountain Lake for an Innisbrook alternative.


For Orlando,  I would guess Sugarloaf is as good as there is.

The Mountain Lake kool-aid has never affected me.

Whispering Pines just opened for the season last week. I drive like a granny and can we there from Redstone in 90 minutes. In town I'd make the 30 minute trek to Champions.

This Week: Tough call but I've wanted to play Long Cove for a long time, so I'll go with LCC too.

In San Antonio I would have played Briggs Ranch or Boot Ranch. This week in New Orleans I'd either play Metarie (which is a fun Raynor) or go up and play Money Hill, also a blast to play. If you want to go east your only about 90 minutes from Fallen Oak.

I've only played CCC and Scioto (other then the Village) and I think the later would be my choice of the two.
