Ron - that's a fine list for sure.  Wish they had something up Buffalo way (CCB/Park?)

I'm shooting to hit Mohawk.  Anyone in?

Dan, they have Transit Valley. It's tough to get the cream of the crop to give up a day. Members don't pay big bucks to give up days.

David, I know that KLynch is trying to get a contingent together for Mohawk. That course was my enormous surprise of 2011...I knew that Yale would be tremendous, but I had no idea how good Mohawk is.

Transit Valley is fine except for that little Grant Fuhr incident....

Ron, I well remember your thread from last year, and I'm still on a DevE kick, so it's a no-brainier.  A buddy from work is joining me so KLynch can count 2 more.

And if it compares to Yale....wow!

I'll say that, if one's palate is educated enough to recognize that grandeur and intimacy represent facets of beauty, Mohawk compares quite favorably with Yale.

Mohawk and Troy would be at the top of my list.  CC of Troy looks phenomenal!

Troy is excellent.  Played it many years ago and without a vocabulary still understood its brilliance.

I'm actually thinking it may be a nice two-day trip to play Mohawk on Monday and perhaps swing over to Leatherstocking on Sunday or Tuesday?

JNC - you interested?  I know we've been meaning to get to Cooperstown.  Anyone else?
