Many thanks Scott. You've just helped out the World's most IT illiterate, supposedly half intelligent 35 year old! How would I change the height of the second picture?

Brett,

Can't help you, but can tell you that I've had the same problem. I just get that error message as well.

Great topic and refresher. I suggest that everybody should save this thread in their Favorites with a "GCA Threads" Folder.

Here is another neat trick that Chris Buie showed me.  Scott's original post describes how to post a photo and then resize it to fit the 800 pixel width of the website.  Of course, the trade off for downsizing is the loss of detail that a larger photo provides.  Fortunately, you can further wrap the image with the URL so that it can be viewed in larger sizes in a separate window.  For example, I resized this photo down to 800 when I posted it on another thread...

If you click on the image, it will pop up in 1024 width in a new window.  Click the image in the new window again and it will change to 1600 width.  All you need to do is follow Scott's instructions and then add URL=photo link in brackets at the front and /URL in brackets at the end.  Here is a screen shot of my post on the other thread where I originally posted the above photo so you can see what it should look like...

Resurrecting this thread because I am failing at posting a photo.

I have tried doing the  thing to no avail, using google photos, imgbb as host to no avail.

What's the current procedures to do this from the pros on this site?

Also, how do you delete a thread you create?

Sorry to c--t up this board today.

NVM solved it.  HACKER!!!!!

Don't play too much golf. Two rounds a day are plenty.
