There are many ways to do this John.  A search of the archives will show a bunch I'm sure.  Or many in this thread will chime in.  Use whatever method you like.

But here is the way I prefer (YMMV):

First convert the article to a high quality JPG and save it to a width of 800 pixels or less (larger than 800 requires a blue slider bar that most people don't like; however, if 800 pixels wide makes the text too hard to read, make it larger, say 1000).

Upload the image to:

http://tinypic.com/

You don't even need an account to do this.  When the picture is uploaded, copy and paste the IMG format from the proper box into a message here.

Simple as that!

I think he's asking how to attach an article rather than a photo.

I just copy the URL and paste it into the post.  There are fancier ways to do this but I am old.

If John himself wrote the article though...

...you will need to upload it to your web page or something similar, and then post the URL to your page in a reply.
