'It's days like these I think of when I'm stressed at work'

I played a round of golf with a guy not so long. We had great fun, great course and it was a beautiful evening. On the 17th he came out with the quote;

'It's days like these I think of when I'm stressed at work'

I thought it was one of the best compliments I've heard about a golf course and a day out.

The questions that arise are

What are the best compliments you've heard given to a golf course?

What courses do you think about when you need a little mental break?

One of the best compliments I could give to a course is "I would love to spend a day with a wedge and a shag bag just hitting shots around each of these greens."

Depends on how far away you are from the clubhouse and how crowded the course is ...  on some courses it represents the only way to practice bunker shots
