Like John Nixon, I don't even really see the point in listing courses I'll almost certainly never have the opportunity to play. So here are domestic public/resort courses. My top 5:

- Bandon (I'll cheat and list the whole resort as one)
- Kiawah Ocean
- Pinehurst #2
- Bethpage
- Whistling Straits/Blackwolf Run

And to think I remember you when you were only a neophyte.
You've come a long way, Bogero, from playing in sand boxes with your collection of figurines.  ;)

I'll keep mine semi-feasible, and limited to those most likely to actually be played:

Crooked Stick - local, and after watching the pros at the BMW last month I'd love to have a shot at it.
Bandon - there's a golf trip somewhere in my future, I just know it.  ;)
Broadmoor - Indpls. Sorry I had to miss the Midwest Mashie
Ross Course - French Lick
Shaker Run - not a big deal I know, but it's by all accounts a nice course, and was built in my hometown about the time I moved out.

John,

Shaker is a decent track but not worthy of your list IMHO.  Go to Springfield CC an hour north to see a great Ross track!

Cheers

Thanks Will, I appreciate the recommendation. Still, if I went back and played it would probably be with some old friends I haven't seen for quite a while as well. That counts for something, no?  Otherwise, Kiawah TOC makes it on the list.  :)

Friar's Head
Fishers Island
Cypress Point

Knocking one off my list this month which is great and have no godly idea when or if I'll get the other four, haha...

Doc, I owe it all to you and a handful of other mentors.  Pleasantries aside, what have you done for me lately? ;)

Tom-Spoke to a work colleague in the Tampa area yesterday who claims he is a regular golfer and he's never heard of Streamsong... I would like to know if they're doing any in-state promotion. He wants to know if they'll be offering an in-state discount like Bandon..
