All,
Thanks for the notes. This process was extremely fun and I viewed the exercise as a means to be critiqued, no matter where the results fell. I will probably be up until 1 or 2AM studying everyone's entries. Kudos to everyone that submitted.
Andy, to answer your question regarding the process and programs used....no short answer as a number of pencils / programs were involved. The routing was initially hand drawn (my apartment was covered with trace for about a week, which I know the fiancée didn't appreciate). I then brought the sketches into AutoCAD, giving the routing "real" dimensions. The finished line work was then rendered in Adobe Photoshop, and the final presentation boards created using Adobe InDesign. SketchUp was used only for the perspectives on the hole details sheets to convey the use of the slopes the site offered. The process sounds more complicated than it was in reality.
The hardest part was developing the routing (by hand). The programs were used for production and graphics.
I'm really looking forward to the upcoming discussions, both positive and negative related to all submissions. Let the fun begin!
