I told Brandy I wanted some Neeps and Tatties...................she slapped me.

  What are these starters?

Anthony,

That would be the order of choice.... ;)

Aubergines are eggplants. Bruschetta is Italian bread grilled or toasted.

Thanks David. It is always nice to experience the culture when traveling but I always seem to stick with the soup to be safe. Not next year.

It's funny. I don't drink beer at home but I do when I'm in England. I hate Rutabaga but enjoy a little side of Swede as part of my Yorkshire dinner.

But I don't get within arms length of Haggis even if I were sitting in the heart of Scotland.

If you every see "Lancashire Hot Pot" on the menu, give it a try:

And don't forget to order the "Eton Mess" for dessert!

I'll take 2nd's on the Eton mess but a pass on the Lancanshire hot pot, especially if it contains kidneys.....

PS: the bruschetta or tomato & fresh mozzerella (with fresh basil on top of course) would be either of my selections.

I did the chicken liver. The chutney was like jam. It was a good choice. What do they call kidneys?

When I am at last able to realize my dream of a trip to the home of golf, I think the experience would not be complete without trying the haggis.
