Is the late lamented Squire Goodale wearing denim in that last picture?  On a British golf course?

Actually I think it's his home course in Scotland, where apparently you can wear whatever you wish!

Where I most often dream of being:

Where is everybody? Where is Tommy N? Where is John K? Where is Jay F? What has happened here? Has my absence caused this chaos? I'm sorry. All my rowdy friends have settled down ......... somewhere else!

Memories
Looking towards North Berwick – one of the East Neuk village beaches.  Lundin?

Kingsbarns I believe

Crail

CAr park Lundin links

First time on THE course.
On the Eden hole, I hit it into Hill bunker; faced by a wall higher than myself, I got out in one but finished closer to the 7th flag than 11th. I putted back and the ground took the ball – straight into Strath. I then got up and down for a most unusual 5.

17th Hit a good drive and even though I had 200 yards left – well you have to have a go don’t you?

Looked like a much easier get out than either of above but needed 3 attempts!

My Dad baptized my granddaughter.  He was very ill and wanted to go to the the golf course one more time.  He died in August.  The second picture is my Dad and Son after the baptism.  They are precious memories.

Still playing with the blades!

My dad died 33 years ago and I still miss playing with him.

Doug, that picture looks eerily familiar!  I have my doubts it was taken in 2009 [winking emoticon intentionally omitted].

Aiden,

Yes, I was taking the piss. :-)

No, I am not going and I regret it. It was a good one in Amsterdam two years ago!

Ed, it is true. Into 2009 [today actually], I made the discovery of how to post pix. This one happens to be my screen background and on my screen saver, a real favorite. As I said, a dream of mine.
