TPC Potomac gets Senior PGA

Oct 4-10, 2010. If the PGA sets the course up on the harder side - God help those round bellies. The new Potomac is quite beautiful (much better than the old Avenel) but characterized with brutal length and extremely tight targets....from the member tees! JC

After playing the course for a summer, do you think that it a tad on the too tough side or is a stern, yet enjoyable challenge for members?

Will - I believe the membership is generally enjoying the course. There was a reality check early on with handicap egos checked at the door. Most members play the course up one set of tees. I play it at 6000 yds and it's still a bear. With the astoundingly low slope/rating, The TPC Potomac members may have the best traveling handicaps in the universe! JC
