Wyndham Championship-Sedgefield

Probably pretty OT but the son of our Pro is playing in the tournament this week. He won a tournament on Sedgefield earlier this year to earn a berth into the tournament. Spoke very highly of the course when we played together a couple weeks ago.

He's -3 thru 9 holes thus far.

He's 16 years old.

How old was he when he had his first hole in one?  That kid got off to a great start.

65 in the first round is pretty good.  Still tied for 15th at -5 thru 15.

Hi John,

I think he was 6.

Some people have all the luck/talent. We have a 19 year old that made a hole in one during our club championship. I asked him if it was his first one. His reply? No, it was my 6th.

Looks like he will make cut -- though he had tough round today.

Hope he plays well on weekend.
