Played there last May it is a fun, challenging course.  Very well maintained and the staff is first class.  They will treat you well.
You should enjoy this very much.
Best
Dave

Dave................Thanks!

Sounds like it should be an enjoyable day.....Of course being from Chicago just about any course in Florida in December would probably qualify.....lol!

I have had the good fortune to play this course many times. I am sure you will enjoy the whole experience.

In a previous thread concerning 'the best golf courses built on a flat piece of land' I nominated Dye Preserve.

The course is always in immaculate condition and nevers gets boring to play.

You really have to think off the tee and if you miss the greens, miss them on the correct side!

Have fun.

I've played it twice.   It was a Dye course which he built many years ago and then completely rebuilt it about 4 years ago and it was renamend Dye Preserve.

As Dean said, the land is flat around the course but Dye has built his typical huge mounds, lots of water, railroad ties and bunkers.  It can be long and I believe it gets windy.
