Jay,

Sam's right, Texas DPS is strong in that corridor. Hwy 175 through Athens, Mabank, and Seagoville will get you to Dallas in around 2hrs.

Wyatt I like the way you think!!!!

I forgot to mention earlier that I'm a Tyler Lee grad. Many a day (and night) spent driving Texas highways to play summer and fall league baseball.

Kyle is taking the lead on the DATE..

You know it is one of those things home course no pictures..but I will certainly be willing to do a feature on the cousre in the spring when the grass is green again.

Original routing still intact, unfortunately the same cannot be said of the greens.
Several however still have that L&M look to them.
Great course to be a member of we are very spoiled.
Small membership, never ever busy, never tee times..and on anationwide scale cheap dues..
come and see us!

Mike, I would love to see you too :)  ...and the rest of the Dallas crowd.  Guys, I'll be hanging with my favorite client, the rock band Bowling For Soup, Dallas icons. So we'll have some fun and interesting guests tagging along.  Mike, I've kept thge 29th and the day of the 31st clear for fun/impromptu golf/whatever, then I'm going to the stars game with Jeff B.  When can you make it to Big D?  Oh, and shoot me your number in an IM.

Because of holiday scheduling issues we had talked about having a small get together in Houston with a larger event in the future, but if there is enough interest I'd be up for doing something else.

Bill,

Tony Nysse has moved to Florida. He is the interim, but soon to be head, super at Pine Tree. I ran into him at a Christmas party and he's doing great!

One of the few that actually left Texas recently, according to the news.

I'm not a GCA, but merely a high school golf coach in Frisco.  I'd be priviledged to be invited to any gathering you might have.
