Can you identify this club by its front entrance?

I've never been there, but this looks like what I've heard of the entrance to Mike Keiser's Dunes Club.

Doesn't look like the Dunes Club to me, this one would be much easier to find than what I remember from DC. That one is essentially one lane only from what I remember with another one lane to get out. Its been a few years now though so I could be wrong.

I think it's Shinnecock Hills back entrance.....

It can be said that Adam knows Southampton.  This was the main entrance, but it seems very few current members arrive from the Estate section, so the little road that the clubhouse sits on is the active entrance, ececially, since there is a traffic light on Montauk Hwy.

It's a shame that they don't use that entrance any more because it comes in right behind the 11th tee and goes between 10 and the Mini Shinny short course.  It's a cool ride in...

The entrance to the Dunes Club is about 10 times less inviting than this.  The entrance for the Dunes Club probably can't accomodate anything wider than a mini cooper car.

You're right about The Dunes Club, and don't forget the tree that you have to dodge to get through the entrance.

I was just up to play shinny last wednesday and I was surprised by the entrance. It was a regular road with no sign or anything. I was expecting something a little more extravagant after going to national the day before and seeing those gates

Bill, The entrance to the Dunes Club is a black metal fence that rolls closed. I almost didn't get my SUV thru the last time there! Very easy place to miss again and again.   Jack

     This recently constructed fence keeps out most of the sleighriders who used to slide down #10 during the winter months.

A few still park on St. Andrews road and walk in anyway.
