Well
No matter how I break it down, three courses always finish up there:
SANDWICH
NORTH BERWICK
PRESTWICK
The following are close, but not quite at the level of the above:
ENNISCRONE
ST ENODOC
PENNARD
BALLYBUNION
PORTRUSH
MERION
Since Sir Bob insists on 10:
ADDINGTON
The one thing I do hope, is that this list will change in the coming the years.
Ciao
In trying to find more pix of Pasa's 14th, I came across this thread and noticed that I hoped my list would change. Well, I am not sure if my priorities changed, but my soul list looks much different today with six different courses.
North Berwick, Pennard, St Enodoc and Enniscrone remain.
Lahinch - recent trip impressed me to no end
Kington - it was a slow process for me, but I eventually came to love this course above all others
Rye - terribly clever design
Cavendish - the design impresses as much for how fun it is as as it does for being designed for the climate
Michigan - is it blind love?
Lakewood Shores - the course which really got me thinking sideways
Ciao
I didn't try to cover different types/styles of courses. So what surprises me most is there isn't a heathland course there.
