Hey all -- we're set for Murphy's Law, though it looks to be a busy night there. We're in the "snug," the side enclosed room on the main floor. Could be a tight squeeze if everyone shows - but we'll make it work. Reservation is under my name and I'll be there at 6, which is when the reservation is.

Oh, and once again, Murphy's Law is at the corner of Queen St. E and Kingston Rd.

Gentlemen,

The quiz is done and is much easier this year.
Many suprising photos, but you should still get the course.

There is very little Canadian content this time.
It's a combination of old historical photos and some very recent work.

Look forward to seeing you all tomorrow.

Is it too late for a last minute entry.....assuming the driving conditions are OK?  I'll give Paul a run for his money for the last place spot!

Thanks to all 15 guys who made it out  the Toronto Chapter of Architecture Fight Club, as well as for Guiness and beef sandwiches. An additional thanks to Mr. Andrew for the time taken in creating his latest architecture quiz, won by Guy Nicholson. And yes, my wife is right -- the whole idea of a bunch of guys getting together in November to talk about golf architecture is pretty geeky. But it is also pretty cool.

We had five designers in the group all told -- and one superintendent.

Apparently there was a matchplay pitting Jeff Mingay and St. George's against GerryB and The National GC of Canada. Not sure how that worked out -- I think they agreed to disagree. Or maybe they didn't agree -- they just disagreed. I'm reporting on this second-hand -- I was in another part of the room.

Anyway, perhaps we'll do a spring outing at Dick Kirkpatrick's new Otter Creek course followed by a dinner. That is assuming, of course, that Mr. Kirkpatrick's nurse agrees to allow him out again following such a late night.

Fighting a head cold, no less. Imagine how much dumb luck I could have had if I was in peak condition. Thanks to Rob and Ian and everyone who came out, including some I didn't really get to meet across the room. And count me in for another kick at Otter Creek.
