Are you sure Rees Jones redid CCNC (Dogwood)??? I know Arthur Hills redid the Cardinal not sure anyone has done much to Dogwood but I could be wrong.....

Not totally sure, but I believe Metropolitan east of Atlanta was the first course that RJ designed.  It closed about 5 years ago and now it's condos.  It was a truly fine golf course that many years ago, and through its shortcomings, got me to thinking about golf course architecture.

That was his dad's course. ;)

My favorite Rees Jones course is Sandpines. I really liked the course but then I gave up my childish ways. I learned why it does not work.

There are several Rees Jones courses here in Virginia Beach. Guess what, they are just as boring as you would expect. They do have interesting names, Hell's Point GC,  and Honey Bee GC.
