Who is the leading Italian American today...Ray Romano?  Can you explain the demise of your people since the likes of Sinatra and Dimaggio?

We all tried to get respectable John, just like Michael Corleone did in Godfather II.  In fact, we tried so hard to fit into mainstream society that nowadays you can't tell a Romano from a Kavanaugh....

Edit - well, maybe YOU can, but just aren't telling us...

Dick,

You aren't insinuating there's something wrong with drinking wine from a water glass...are you? I hope not!

All this food and wine talk forced me to put some Totino's Pizza Rolls in the toaster oven.....be right back....

 :)

Nice...I just had my wife put in some pizza rolls.
Anyone going to open a second bottle? If so what's next? ::)

Dean,

Do you mean "what's next" in wine, or O/T discussion? Or, both?

Joe
Wine please.

Tiger is regressing - - back to when he peaked at 11 years old and winning everything he played.

Joey H., we decided off line in an O.T. diversion to an O.T. line of questioning...  You look like:

Which would make him Joey "Joey 'Cetrullo" Hancock, out on the street. (The mob never got into the shaping end of the lucrative golf course architecture business).

This may be the first thread hear to mention pizza rolls...I think that that may truly be the beginning of the end.  I hadn't read the Nike thread but I was surprised that Nike didn't throw together an impromtu commercial showing that.

Was I the only one truly impressed and concerned at how those guys played the 600 yard 17th?  In the Tiger/Baddely match, they both flew it on in two and had putts of less than 20 feet for eagle,...that really impressed me.

I hear Tiger regressed right into a $100 million Gatorade contract. Has anyone given it the taste test yet? Does it improve your game? :-\

Brock, in my never ending attempt to keep these things at least mildly related to golf course architecture, Gino Palucci or Jeno Paulucci of Chung King and pizza rolls fame, was the original founder and developer of Lake Nona, where all those Euro golfers live and one of the home and home venues of the Tavistock Cup.  Of course he had to have the Faz design it...

Spicy Sausage and dirty rice, now that sounds classy. I think Tiger may be regressing though, into some form like Bobby Jones in 1930 winning the Slam or Hogan in 1953 winning 5 of 6 tournaments, including 3 majors. I think Tiger might be regressing into some numbers like that.
Good choice with the sausage and rice btw.
