The same John Kirk.   Click on the slide show link and check out the photographer credit.  That's teamwork!

One thing I have concluded is that you need to play Crossings before you play the resort and not after.  I think the course makes for a better foundation to build a trip than it would serve as icing on the cake.

John,

Is there anyway you could post the entire article you submitted to the magazine.  I berivity of the article does not fit your personal style.

John, I think that goes for any golf trip.  Get started with the secondary offering, and finish with the main course.  I always have bad withdrawl symptoms after I finish my Bandon trips, and have no interest in dessert.  The Crossings sounds like a nice appetizer to get the rust off and have some fun.

John,

I'll send you an unedited version privately.  For the most part, the article was submitted as written, with a few sentences and facts omitted.

I'm really glad Cheryl took pictures that day, since Links asked for a few.

Thanks to Chip and everyone for the recognition.  As they say in "Bull Durham", I'm just happy to be part of the ballclub.

Play it first unless you are concerned about your legs holding up at Bandon Dunes.  1/3 of their business at Crossings is BD caddie play in the summer because they get tired of the walking at the resort.  They play for free at BD, but are willing to pay for the cart!  In spite of the course not quite measuring up to BD standards.
