That's a nice clubhouse in a very strong location and definitely must be a fun place to hang out, in what looks like a full wrap-around breezeway. This picture's vantage point reminds me a bit of Chambers Bay but CB has its clubhouse up on top. Interesting comparison for debate, maybe? I'm sure that the cart paths and roads are much less garish when you're on the ground, or in the clubhouse, but is it the best location for the course? Unique and bold, definitely.
I think back to the main lodge at Bandon, where it was first proposed to be placed on the site of BD #16, and what a loss that would have been; not just for the great hole location, but for all the roads and parking that would have been necessary.
