King's Putter VI Interested?
« on: December 26, 2007, 04:19:17 PM »
Who is interested in attending KP VI? It will be in Northern California most likely, around mid to late April. I should have more details in the next couple of weeks. I just wanted to gauge interest at this point so I have an idea of how big the group might be.

Ed,
Add me to your list. I don't have any conflicts in April.

Should my expected next project at work come to be, I will most likely be spending a significant portion of 2008 in California...albeit mostly in SoCal.

BUT...I'd be interested!!!

I will be in Palm Desert for a week early in April, if its mid April, I will hang around for it.
Live Jupiter, Fl, was  4 handicap, played top 100 US, top 75 World. Great memories, no longer play, 4 back surgeries. I don't miss a lot of things about golf, life is simpler with out it. I miss my 60 degree wedge shots, don't miss nasty weather, icing, back spasms. Last course I played was Augusta

If it fits in with my NCGA work schedule I'd definitely be interested.

Paul,
No worries, I don't need definite commitments at this point. Just gauging interest.

Thanks for the responses.

Ed, I am interested.  If location and courses are an issue, does the group want to consider Scottsdale?  Lots of interesting course options, late April and May is a good time for reasonable weather and prices.  Please let me know if you decide to go that way.  Tom

Ed,

I'd come if it were during my Spring break.
It is one of the last three weeks of April.
Please keep us posted.

Cheers,
Jordan

Tom,
Thanks for the offer, but we do try to stay in California for this one. Although surely the day will come when we need to head out of state to keep things interesting.

Cool. Welcome to the party Ace! Bill has the only ace in KP history. Unfortunately I was one hole behind him and missed seeing it go in.

The Stevinson Ranch KP was held on Masters weekend (Apr-10-13 in 2008). Remember gathering around and watching the Tiger chip-in? The second best shot of the week.

That was a Masters (2006) to remember. Much better than watching it at home by myself.

I'm interested and will enter into negotiations with the domestic dictatorship once you have dates firmed up.

Perhaps this will be staged at the "new and improved" Pasatiempo?

Ed,
Good luck with the organisation and thanks for picking up the ball.
I wish I could be there but cannot for obvious reasons.  You guys will have a great time.
Ed can be relied upon to get it right.

Ed,
Put me down as being interested. As always I have more places to go than I can possibly hope to see, but making an actual GCA event needs to be more of a priority for me!

I'm interested obviously depending on dates and details.

I'd really appreciate it though, if Grandpa Joe could pick me up in the company jet, on his way west from Grand Rapids...  ::)

Yes, I'm in.

We could likely do it at Morgan Creek as well, for a very good rate w/ lunch or meals or whatever.
